About the course

Self-paced and mobile-friendly, so a new hire can finish it before their first day on the roof. No need to build a training program from scratch. Each worker who completes it gets a certificate for your records.

Isn't there a free government course?

Yes, and it's a good start. Ontario's free Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps covers basic rights and responsibilities for workers in every industry. It doesn't include WHMIS, and it doesn't teach anything about working on a roof. Jobsite Ready: Roofer covers the same mandatory awareness training, plus WHMIS and the hazards that actually hurt new roofers: falls, ladders, struck-by, heat, nail guns, power lines, and old roofing materials like asbestos. Your worker finishes in about 2 hours with a completion certificate for your files. That's one course and one record, instead of piecing it together yourself.
